August 23 Home vs Rockmart
The Canes play their 2nd AA school in a row, but this one is the State Runner up from last season. A highly anticipated matchup in the NWGA area early in the season. Calpreps: Cartersville by 14
August 30 Home vs Hapeville
Cartersville closes their August homestand hosting their 3rd straight AA school when they host the #15 ranked Hapeville Hornets. Calpreps: Cartersville by 35
Sept 6th at Calhoun
The old Region rivals from the last several years keep the series going. Cartersville takes their 1st road trip of the year in what the computer thinks may be their closest contest of ’24 Calpreps: Cartersville by 7
Sept 13th Home vs Dalton
Dalton was the surprise team of 2024 but on paper they seem to be in a rebuilding year. We will no for sure by the time this Region opener gets here. Calpreps: Cartersville by 15
Sept 20th Away at Woodland
The Canes head down the road for their 2nd road game of the year, which coincendenlty is their 2nd Region game also. Calpreps: Cartersville by 35
Sept 27th OFF
Oct 4th Home vs Cass
Does Cartersville play any road games this year? This is not the old Cass us old timers remember, they will play the Canes tough. Calpreps: Cartersville by 15
Oct 11th Away at Allatoona
Canes leave the County for the 1st time since Sept 6th and make the short drive down to Allatoona. Calpreps: Cartersville by 33
Oct 18th at Cedartown
This game could have all kinds of hype and implications by the time this game rolls around in Mid October. This could be the Canes biggest challenge for an undefeated season. Calpreps: Cartersville by 9.
Oct 24th Home vs Hiram
Another tough contest to close out the season. The Hornets maybe the only thing standing between a perfect season and a Region Title. Calpreps: Cartersville by 23
Nov 3rd- OFF (Good use of an off week before post season)
Final Word
Great schedule for the #1 Canes to pull off an undefeated regular season. A few roadblock in their way with Rockmart, Cass, and Cedartown. Even a very athletic Hiram team could give them a run in the final week.
