School #2: Armuchee Indians

The Indians finished the 2023 season 4-6 after an impressive 4-2 start. There will be a lot of new faces on the field this season for 2nd year Head Coach Eric Belew as Armuchee will graduate a big Senior class in May. Here are 3 names to know this Fall as the Indians battle for their 1st post season birth since 2009.

Luke Lively

Multisport that is tearing it up on the diamond so far this Spring. Will be starting his 2nd season as the Indians QB1 this Fall. The HM All Region QB can get it done with his arm or his legs. Had a breakout game last season vs SE Whitfield accounting for 4 TDs.

Jakson Hightower

Put my “scout” cap on. This is a kid I really like in 2024 to have a breakout season. Was 2nd Team All Region last year and I fully expect he will make the jump to 1st Team this Fall. Physical LB that has worked hard off the field and has got a lot stronger and faster, and leaner.

The few times I’ve seen the Indians play Live the last few years, Blaine is always one that catches my attention. Quick athletic guy that always seems to be in the right place to make plays. Can fill in at QB if needed.
