Team #16: Dalton Catamounts

The Catamounts are coming off an 8-4 season, the most wins since the 2016 SF team. Their back to back 1st Round playoff wins is also the first time they have accomplished this since the 2016 season. They are led by Head Coach Kit Carpenter who is entering his 4th season at the helm.

3 Players to Know in ’24

’25 Ethan Long QB

The rising Senior is the top returning yards per game in our coverage area for 2024. Passed for over 2800 yards and 31 TDs in 2023. Was 1st Team Times Free Press and 2nd Team All Region. On the NwGaFootball POY Preseason short list.

’25 Kendrix London WR/DB

IMO the most underrated recruit in our Area. Can kill you vertically offensively and is a ball hawk on defense. Had 47 catches last season for 833 yards and 9 TDs and added 59 TT with 6 PBU on defense. Could easily go over the century mark this season in receiving yards.

’25 Peyton Starling LT/DE

Good size at 6’2 240. Physical, athletic defensive lineman that can get to the ball carrier quick. Good in pursuit and is a finisher. The Catamounts will rely on his leadership this Fall.
