Team #19: East Paulding Raiders
The Raiders finished 6-5 last season and qualified for the playoffs for the 1st time since 2018 in one of the toughest Regions in the State. Head Coach Chris Hirschfield enters his 3rd season at the helm and has brought a new sense of excitement to the East Paulding fans.
3 Names to Know
’25 RB Javen Parker : Parker is one of my personal favorite RBs in the Area over the last few years. Strong, compact runner that is physical and has speed. He had 1190 yards rushing and averaged over 6 yards a carry last season. He added another 300 yards receiving out of the backfield, scoring 12 total TDs.
’25 TE DaMari Witherspoon: The 6’5 220 TE/WR has blown up this off season in the recruiting world. Great frame that still has the potential to gain good weight going forward. Good route runner with good hands. Has the speed and athleticism to play out wide. Will be on campus at Ga Tech, UAB, Memphis and Indiana this Spring for visits.
’25 WR/DB Brian Allen: The 5’11 185 Allen gets it done on and off the field. Fearless route runner that can catch the ball in traffic and has the speed to beat you on the vertical routes. Physical tackler on defense and has a great football IQ. Has offers from from U Penn, UAB, Arkansas St, and Austin Peay.
