Team #34: North Cobb Christian Eagles

North Cobb Christian is a new team on our to follow list this season. The Eagles were Region Champs last season in 6-AA, going 9-3, and move to our local 7-AA Region this Fall. Head Coach Matt Jones enters his 4th season at the helm, leading the Eagles to the playoffs in each of his previous 3 seasons.

3 Names to Know in ’24

’27 QB Teddy Jarrad

The rising Sophomore QB is one of the top pro style QBs returning in our coverage area in 2024. He passed for close to 2100 yards last season with 18 TDs leading the Eagles to the 2nd Round of the playoffs. The 6’1 175 2027 QB is defiantly one to get out and see this Fall.

’25 6’2 230 DE Raymond “Ray” Dixon

Impressive numbers last season for the rising Senior, 66 TT with 23.5 TFL. He was the 6AA Region DPOY and a GACA All State selection last Fall. Excellent off the field with a 3.6 GPA. Has received offers from Dartmouth, Cornell, Army and Georgetown. Was recently on campus at James Madison.

’25 LB Spears Martin

The 6’0 205 LB returns after leading the Eagles in TT in 2023 with 108 with 12.5 TFL. He had a season high 14 TT in a 28-0 win last season vs Washington. Was a GACA All State Selection last Fall. Tough, multisport kid that excels on the baseball field.
