Team #35: North Murray Mountaineers
Head Coach Preston Poag enters his 9th season at the helm for the Mountaineers. North Murray finished last season at 8-4 and advanced to the 2nd Rd of the playoffs for only the 3rd time in the young programs history. Little historical note: Coach Poag has finished above .500 in each his 1st 8 seasons and has qualified for the playoffs in each season.

’26 WR Hudson Hulett
Under Poag the Mountaineers have been known to put up some big numbers in the passing game. A long list of good WRs have come and gone, including graduating Senior Judson Petty. The WR group is in good hands this season with the return of Hulett. The 1st Team All Area athlete is a force on both sides of the ball. Had over 800 receiving last season to go along with 100+ TT on defense. One of the most underrated players in our Area.
’25 DE/LB Aiden Ellis
The rising Senior passes the eye test when he steps off the bus. A solid 6’2 230, the returning All Region and All Area DE had 60 TT with 4 sacks last season for the Mountaineers. Hard worker in the weight room and the classroom. Maxed on the bench at 315 and has a 3.90 GPA .
’25 DL Nate Rivera
The 6’2 280 DL is high motor dude on the DL. The returning All Region and All Area DL had 40 TT last season with 7 TFL and 4 sacks. Rivera will be a big part of the line on both sides of the ball for the Mountaineers this Fall. Aggressive, strong guy with a solid base.
