3 Names to Know: Bremen Blue Devils

Over the next few weeks we will highlight 3 players from each of the 53 teams we cover at NwGaFootball.

Team #4 Bremen Blue Devils

The Blue Devils were a play away from the Region Championship in 6AAA in 2023. They ended the season 9-3, losing in the 2nd round to powerhouse Cedar Grove. Bremen has one of the more impressive playoff runs in our area, reaching the postseason 24 of the last 27 years. Head Coach Davis Russell enters his 9th season at the helm with a 60-34 record and 9 straight playoff appearances.

They have to replace some experience this Fall but they have a solid group of experienced and young talent coming back. Below are 3 names to remember plus a bonus for the future.

3 Names to Know

Trent McPherson

’25 RB/SS

One of the most underrated players in our Area. Back to Back State weight lifting champ while sporting a 4.1 GPA. Deceptively fast out of the backfield and you better get a hat on him, or two, at the line of scrimmage or he will be Adios. Great change of direction in traffic. Que the film, this kid can play.

Justin Faulkner

’26 6’1 WR/DB

Was a 1st Team Selection at WR as a Sophomore. Can get North South on you quick and has great hands and YAC. Those in “the know” think this guy has break out potential this season and will be on everyone’s radar after 2024.

Andrew Muldoon

’25 6’4 220 TE/DL

All County TE his Sophomore year and was named All Region last year after moving to Tackle. Tough kid with a high motor that plays with a chip on his shoulder.

Up and Coming Bonus: Rising Soph OL Bryson Jenkins is one to watch. Saw him last week go toe to toe with some future P4 guys in the trenches.
