Over next several weeks we will give you 3 names to know for each of our 54 teams we cover at NwGAFootball.
Team #6: Carrollton Trojans
Head Coach Joey King will be entering his 4th season at the helm for the Trojans. Carrollton has put together an impressive 37-5 record with 2 Region Titles and a State Championship appearance over the past 3 years.
The 2024 version of the Trojans appears to be loaded on paper and we would not be the least bit surprised to seem them make another run at a Title this Fall. Narrowing down 3 players to highlight on this roster was tough but below are 3 we think will make huge contributions this season. (Note: We left the most oblivious one off. Returning QB Ju Ju Lewis is the #1 overall player in the Nation by some publications. We feel he is a name even causal high school fans know at this point.)
3 to Know:
Kimauri Farmer
’26 RB
Farmer broke on to the scene last season having to take over the RB1 spot due to injury early in the season opener. Farmer surpassed all expectations. Was named 2023 Region POY and was selected to the All State team as a sophomore. Elusive runner with great change of direction and vision. I got to see him in person last season at Barron for his breakout game when he went for 200+ on a tough Wolves defense. Future Star.
Ryan Mosley
’26 WR/FS
If you have the #1 QB in the country you need someone to throw it to and Mosley is that guy. Great size at 6’4 198. Tall target that is a great route runner and physical after the catch. Mosley has already popped up on some D1 radars this offseason. He recently picked up offers from UCF and South Carolina and many more are on his way.
CJ Gamble
’26 ILB/OLB
One of the more underrated players on the Carrollton squad. The 6’2 210 is a fierce competitor and plays the LB spot with a chip on his shoulder. Takes care of business on the field and off the field, carrying a 3.8 GPA. Multisport guy that recently threw a personal best 45’3 in the shot put. Definitely a player to get out and see this Fall.
